Our Mandate
Luton Hospital Foundation operates as the community transformation arm of Luton Hospital—focused on bridging the gap between underserved populations and equitable healthcare access.
Our Story
Luton Hospital Foundation was established as a response to the growing healthcare needs within marginalized and underserved communities in Kenya. With rising cases of maternal health complications, adolescent pregnancy, economic barriers, and untreated chronic illnesses, it became clear that hospital-level care alone wasn’t enough.
The Foundation was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to extend the walls of Luton Hospital into the heart of every community.
Today, we work across counties, partnering with government, NGOs, community organizations, and private sector institutions to create long-term health solutions that change lives forever.
Our Journey
Luton Hospital Foundation was officially launched as the social impact arm of Luton Hospital, marking the beginning of a dedicated mission to address maternal health and adolescent wellness.
The Foundation launched county-level outreach programs, offering medical camps, screenings, and health education in underserved areas.
A dedicated fund was introduced to support vulnerable patients needing surgery, investigations, or emergency care, regardless of ability to pay.
The Foundation expanded national partnerships, strengthening its programs in maternal care, adolescent health, fistula repair, and research-driven interventions.
